SARC Safehouse services
Many times, the only way a victim can stay safe from the violence in her/his home is to enter our confidentially located Safehouse. SARC’s Safehouse opened in 1996 and has been called home by an average of 150 women, men, and children each year. Our 28-bed shelter is a structured program for female survivors and their children. Clients may be eligible for up to 6 months of stay at the Safehouse. Adult male victims are sheltered off-site and offered the same services as female victims.
