Safehouse Services:
Many times, the only way a victims can stay safe from the violence in her home is to enter our confidentially located Safehouse. SARC’s Safehouse opened in 1996 and has been called home by 150 women and children, on average, each year.
To assist victims the residential staff provides:
Our twenty-eight (28) bed Safehouse provides shelter for battered women and their children for up to six (6) months. Adult male victims are sheltered off-site and offered the same services as female victims.
